The NCS Reuben Award weekend was held in Hollywood in 2009. As their opening movie they do their version of Randy Newman's classic "I Love LA"... Steve (Biographic, Kid City) McGarry drives around a big nasty redhead who bears an unfortunate resemblance to that years NCS President. Additional footage is also taken from the previous years awards weekends including 2008 in New Orleans. If you know your cartoonists you may get a glimpse of some of the following: Lynn Johnston, Fred Laswell, Jack Davis, Al Jaffee, Mike Luckovich, Bunny Hoest, Bill Hinds, Jerry Scott, Rick Kirkman, Arnold Roth, David Silverman, Dan Piraro and many others.
