American manufacture's cars may be build in China for China doesn't mean it won't perform less than what you get in the US.

they should make 2.0 liter v8 turbos lol or and inline 7 twin turbo... that would sound nice

LOL, im in no way a V8 lover, but the v8 muscle cars get fairly good gas mileage. Its the v8 trucks/suvs that need work

Oh, and I forgot, Pontiac is going away. And from my friend at GM, this car will not see the light of day in the new GM. So much for this V8 car.

We will see what happens. With our new president dictating what happens in many industries, and with EPA requirements now rising to astronomical numbers, do you see millions of V8s in the future? I don't. It is not that I hate them, I just don't see the government allowing them now. with more stringent requirements.

The fact of the matter is all cars are turning into fuel effecient cars with less power.Since less V8's will be sold the price will go up.Therefore eventually V8's will soon be considered supercars.Mainly the new ones.Unless someone finds a way to create a fuel efficent V8 will killer power...

if u can buy the ute im sure that gas prices are not going to affect u in australia most people that own the ute are electritions or builders and plumbers and they make money 65 thousand minumum easy so there is no petrol problem for them like the v6 and v8 commodore range is the most popular car in aus sellying like hotcakes
