Sing we of the blessed Mother (Rustington)

Offertory hymn at the University of the South's School of Theology. The Chapel of the Apostles (CoTA) is the seminary's "teaching chapel" where the student body meets several times a day for worship and prayer. The organ is a very lovely 2003 two-manual 23-something rank Casavant. Pictures and specification are available on the Casavant website. This was during the '08-09 academic year. The words are apparently copyrighted (by George B. Timms) and the hymn tune "Rustington" was composed by C.H.H. Parry. It is hymn number 278 in The Hymnal 1982.

Picked right out of the English Hymnal eh? Well at least it sounds like a proper English hymn to my ears. I love their hymns for the melodic structure and flowing harmonies used. Again, flawless playing, and I particularly loved your adding the reeds towards the end of the stanza, nice affect! EXCELLENT post!
