antropov and Ponikarovsky SUCKS! i would rather have 2 canadians to replace them!

This is just Xenophobic. Antropov is arguably our best forward, and probably is the closest to a "Canadian style" player on our team. Poni isn't as good but still plays the "Canadian style game", aka a high grinding/hitting and shooting game.

have you been watching the leaf games? poni and antropov are standing out as the ones making the most mistakes. for all the years they have been with the leafs they should be playing better. and if you watch antropov when hes play you will see hes lazy and always stops staking.

Are we talking about the same Antropov? Second in goals and points for the leafs last year Antropov? And hits? First in plus minus? Considered by many our best all around player last year? Led in forward shot blocks Antropov? Second in GWG for the leafs Antropov? Please. I can see a case for arguing against Poni, but Antropov was our arguably our best forward last year, Mats being the only one who you could say was better.

no dought he did well last year you know with all the competition he had...Sundin and thats about it. But when he is surronded with younger players his lazy play really shows.

If you're talking about the preseason, thats because his spot is guaranteed. No matter what, he's on the first line. Why risk injury? Other guys are trying to work their way up, or even onto the team. Kaberle and Kbuina have been lazy too, and so has Toskala. Does that mean the suck with youth? Absolutely not.

Ponikarovsky does suck. He makes stupid decisions, never hits and usually misses the net with his shots. Ian White plays tougher than Poni does, and is a good half foot shorter than him.

It's ok though, Burke won't put up with his pussfooting and he'll be released in the offseason.
