Part of a conversation between an aide to Paul Tonko (D-NY) and a lobbyist conversation:
Aide "probably the best part of the bill is the increase in Hospice care which will solve the prolonging of life issue." (BTW, these bills are written by congressional aides not congressmen/women).
The lobbyist asks about whether Tonko will read the bill, Aide says "well, he pays me to read it for him".
Oregonians are being offered physician assisted suicide instead of treatment.
Be very afraid.

NONE of the Senators have read the bill. It's hundreds (Senate version) or over a thousand (House version) pp. It is still being amended!
Have you ever read a bill. It goes something like this: This section strikes out this other section of some old bill and this section replaces three words in some other section of yet some other bill.
It isn't like reading a novel, It's more like going through a maze. They don't know what they voted for until confronted by a "gotcha" reporter later on...

Whatever floats your boat Mezzie. Everybody on the planet supports healthcare reform. What that means to regular Americans is tort reform, less bureaucracy, and mroe choice.
You know, the opposite of BambiCare.

The government isn't taking things over.. this is typical GOP spin. Fear tactics is how they operate. I will bet my life.. this doctor hasn't even read the bill.

only 25% of all doctors are with the AMA. The vast majority of doctors support healtcare reform. Nice try.
Links to contact the good doctors should be listed on the sidebar description.
