The five member combo jams to the jazz piece, Chameleon, by Herbie Hancock. The combo performed at the Ohio State University Jazz Festival, and recieved a superior rating. Joe Sneider individually recieved an All State Band award.

Please do yourselves a favor and don't do this song again. It has been done to death by shitty ass student groups and you don't want to have to deal with that reputation. Play some real standards like four, Cherokee, confirmation, Stella by starlight etc.

Depends on how you slap. If you suck at it, it will totally destroy the groove. If you've got a bass player that can throw down, it gets an enormous reaction from the audience.
Trust me on this, I bring the house down every time I take a slap solo.
