@Samuraislash600 don't bother mate, Alienware is basically built for gaming. not gonna be getting much bang for your buck if your not playing games on it. Still, its sexy as hell though :)

Awesome review, favorite one on Youtube of the M18X. Definitely a GORGEOUS laptop but I have a question. I'm buying a Laptop to record fraps and make videos on the go and at different locations and will start out with the basic 1.5 TB HDD. My question is, does the eSata port actually allow you to plug in an SSD and have it functioning normal? I'd need to know because i would record the fraps files to an external SSD or HDD for better performance recording.

It's a joke of a "scoring system." It was originally designed, IN COOPERATION between Microsoft and HP, to basically encourage people to purchase unnecessary, additional upgrades.

Notice how your FINAL SCORE isn't even the average of all scores? No. Your FINAL SCORE is the LOWEST of all the scores.

@twistedmetalplayer21 Yes, because it has an SSD. The M18x reviewed here has a normal HDD, which cannot score higher than 5.9 in the WEI. As you can see in the video, all the other scores are much higher. Your M14x, sorry to say, pales in comparison to the M18x, performance-wise.

Mrthaibox123 tell me if you would not mind: do you still enjoy your m14x? I brought it after your review and received it last month. I travel allot and I always take my laptop with me so the m18x is nothing for me, aldo I love the specs of it The alienware m14x is an powerful laptop, the most powerful 14 inch laptop there is. Do you still use your alien ware goodies? Or you just have it to have it?
