the high ram usage is probably cause by the Ikarus engine they are using

However i havent tried the new version yet , but the old version had crazy many false positives , and slowed down my computer pretty well . booting took twice longer . It has the best detection rate though . In 2011 antivirus musnt slow down your computer . thats the main requirement .
