why would someone let their dog loose with a mother doe protecting its fawn, the poor dog has a very ignorant owner, i feel for the dog!The dog owner should of ran at the doe it would have left its fawn because of the human scent

Will any sane human mother kill to protect her child? I think so. Will any sane dog owner release their dog outside when a wild deer with young is nearby? I think not. The moral, this is nature and domestication interaction.

to all you matcho men out there if you tryed to take on a mother deer protecting her fawn you would lose in a heart beat the average deer waighs about 150 LBS not to mention there mostly muscle granted tht dog didnt stand a chance the poor thing but given a different outcome and tht dog was like a shepar, or husky or some breed like tht ether the deer or the dog would have died the fact is tht was a sheepp dog

@DawgFL And i'm a wrestler. And that 15 mph puch wont mean nothing if your on the ground and can't get the power of that punch from your legs. And it is safe to say that I would be stronger than that deer. Even the average sized man could have atleast made the deer think twice about attacking. But these were just women on the video. And probably couldn't do much but scream I guess. I would like to see that dee to that to a full grown wolf. Story would have been different lol.

@southboy99 One more thing, I'm a martial artist, and it's safe to say that speed DOES equate to strength but only in relation to weight. A 100lb punch at 15 miles/hr is going to be weaker than a 100lb punch at 20 miles/hr.

@DawgFL I have a perfect example for you. Look up the video deer beats up fat guy and see for yourself. The guy could have easily dispatched that deer but instead he was laughing and not in any REAL danger.
