Some 215 million children are laboring for survival.

"The grim reality for many children is they do not have the opportunity to play, to learn," he said. "They are trapped in child labor. We want to focus attention on this issue."

Of the 215 million child laborers, the ILO estimates more than half, or 115 million, are trapped in the worst forms of child labor. This includes all forms of slavery, such as debt bondage, using children in armed conflict, or in the sex industry.

Many children also are forced into hazardous work, including domestic service, agriculture, and mining.

The ILO says the largest number of children work in South Asia, because of the sheer size of the population. But, in terms of percentage, sub-Saharan Africa has the largest number of child laborers.

if only people could see what is really important in this life ! all these thousands of years of evolution and all the majority of human beings on this planet are interested in is what piece of crap they can buy next ! its just sad that our fellow humans, animals and the earth have to be so exploited just to satisfy this meaningless and pointless quest for a quick buzz !! another excellent video mate , they need to be seen !

What people don't realize is that in these countries where there is this "slave labor" it has basically illegal to engage in investing in a better life style. They move into the cities and factories with bad conditions because it is an improvement over half starving in the countryside living hand to mouth off the land. It is GOVERNMENT that is the problem, not "capitalism" or "consumerism".

Very good video.. i believe that replicators(a hidden technology) can solve most of the problems in the world. You can replicate things like food, clothing.. from energy which is already abundant in the universe without the need of people to make clothing in a factory,etc..which can free alot of people.. Look up 3d printers on youtube, its like a stepping stone of a real replicators..
