This video shows you how to field strip the German WWII MG-42 universal machinegun. It's not easy holding the camera and taking the gun apart with the other!

  • Hi,

  • VEEERY interesting!

Is it an original weapon or a modern reproduction?

Congratulations on your great passion for the German weapons!

  • @woobinda65 This is a 100% original MG-42 from the Third Reich. I sold it recently to buy a new house (which turned out to be an exceptional deal) and pass the MG-42 on to another collector and friend, who also loves owning and shooting the weapon. Owning the MG-42 was a great lifetime achievement.

  • @DARIVSARCHITECTVS

    I believe it is...

It is a well known, sad and powerful symbol of human capability.

It is really well kept for being so old.

    Congratulations again!

  • @slayerman1992 Oh yes. I have had the MG-42 for several years and fired it a lot, and so have my friends and relatives. I sold it to a fellow collector recently to pay for a new house. I will miss owning it, but few can say they have been able to own such a gun, and it was a great experience!

  • @DARIVSARCHITECTVS

My bad, didn't watch far enough into the movie to see the bolt get disasembled.

Anywho, i presume you have tried firing with it? It's quite a thrill, aint it!

  • @slayerman1992 No, this is not an MG-3. It is a 100% all original WWII parts German MG-42.
