that's because african american culture is different just how chinese and indian cultures are different. Just because we are both black does not mean we automatically will identify with black americans like how we would identify with another person from the caribbean like puerto rico.

It's the division that the whites put between us. They refer to Jamaicans as Jamaican while they refer to Africans as Africans while the obvious truth is that every Black people come from Africa and we are all the same as Blacks and Africans.

Blacks should learn not to be divided by what they are referred to, as whether you are living in Caribean, Asia, or Africa, we all are still affected by the same white men racism. Lol.
