Dow Jones USA Video
Greg Horn on guitar and vocals
Chris Clark on bass and vocals
Tim North on drums
Brad Garton (Mr. Science) on keyboards
This video uses remixed and reworked footage from their live show at 3rd Base, and improved audio from their split album Hoosier Hysteria, plus some acquired footage from Lyndon Johnson's infamous Daisy commercial in his campaign against Barry Goldwater.
...An audio and visual feast for bipedal primates.
Nice video lead with Iraq images, quite visionary. Chris Clark and Tim North, Huntington, IN homeboys. Who says a Purdue student president can't be way cool. I've got Hoosier Hysteria. I will sell my autographed Madonna first!
New Shimmer, Purdue Armory gig, had to be winter 1980. Grand entry with a band member in a coffin I believe, over the top for anything going on in Indiana at the time.

Wow what a blast from the past. I was at Purdue during their heyday. I lived in Cary Quad and the guy next door used to blast Dow Jones music all day long.
It sucked then and it still sucks.

I was at that Purdue armory gig. I think it was 81, or maybe even 80. Very entertaining band. Purdue in the early 80s was a place that you could be a farmer, a nerd, a punk rocker and an politician at the same time.

I was at their memorial gig for Tim North (RIP) @ Radio Radio in Indy a couple of years back! Great band! Too bad they had long broken up when we started doing gigs at the late, lamented Jockey Club in Newport, KY - we would LOVED to have had them play!
