  • Kellillek I work with families of autistic children and teenagers, I attended a conference last year in Toronto Canada. I met a musician, an engineer and even a girl who had just graduated college with a BA in Communications!!! How cool is that!! One thing they all had in common SUPPORTIVE PARENTS.

  • The guy in the sky-blue shirt is Dr. Alessandri, Clinical Professor of Psychology at the University of Miami and Executive Director of the Center for Autism & Related Disabilities CARD. He also works developing appropriate and effective educational programs for students with autistic spectrum disorders. He is the reason I picked Univeristy of Miami to pursue my PhD in Clinical Psychology.

  • I think what they are doing is wonderful. But at the same time, I have two children with autism and I feel a bit sad. When I look-up information like this, it seems that adults with ASD primarily work as office clerks. I'm not knocking this profession. I work at Fedex Office. But is this what my children are destined to do as adults? Does anyone know of adults with successful careers in other areas ... other than Temple Grandin?

  • The guy in the sky-blue shirt & facial hair who appears at the start & about 4:50 into the video has a connection to Autism Speaks. If only their videos had such a positive/hopeful tone.

  • These success stories give me a great deal of hope for my son. You've got an amazing program!
