It has been said that this could be the first ever electro track from way back in 1977. It even has the dog barks that became so synonymous with many electro tracks of the 80's. A classic and quite possibly seminal electro track. A&M records Catalaogue1971-S.

  • If you've heard any of Cat Stevens other stuff, you were as shocked as I was when I learned HE created this. That's like Lil Wayne playing a Sicilian love ballad on a Stradivarius and performing it perfectly.

  • way ahead of it's time....

  • Riding around in my friend's mother's orange 1972 Olds Delta 88 listening to this song. Gawd that seemed so long ago. What really stunk was having it on 8 track. You couldn't fast forward or rewind, so when you wanted to relisten to this song you had to play the whole track which probably contained 3 songs. Then you could advance past the three other tracks to get back to the track this song was on.

    Woof!

I just found out the name about 13 hours ago. smh.....

  • Chick Corea was the keyboardist, which explains a lot. Always a favorite.

  • Nitty Gritty remix - KMD

  • this is awesome . . . reminds me of some george clinton type shit . . .

  • I don't ever remember hearing this song on the radio, but I do remember hearing this song only once back in the end of 1978. It was in the YMCA on 23rd street and 7th Avenue in Manhattan. They had a jam and the DJ played this song. It was mellow and we all loved it. I had to know the name and it stuck with me all this time. Thanks for posting.
