Great video. Hamilton was actually only engaged in one duel where he had a pistol in his hand. In the others he was either in the process of a challenge that ended prior to the duel or he was representing another party as an intermediary or a second in the "Affair of Honor" dueling process.

Thanks for the comment, studying the Founding Fathers proves to be very interesting. Somehow people have the misconception that the past is boring and only the present and future are interesting. It's very interesting to look at politics when this nation was being founded and now now, in some ways they are so similar and in some ways they are so different.

Great capsule review of Hamilton's life!! It's nice to have some bite-sized info about him out there.

BTW, his wife's maiden name is pronounced "Skylar." Or, at least there's a lot of places named after the Schuylers where I live and that's how us locals pronounce it. :) (But maybe it was pronounced "Shyler" back in the 18th century, who knows for sure?)
