YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL

We hosted the YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL project at the TREEHOUSE gallery in october of 2005. For this show the YAB crew flew in from Chicago and we had an outdoor exhibition of work submitted from around the world. At the end of the show, all the work (which was required to say "you are beautiful") was installed throughout the city streets of LA. One piece from the show was a 30'x8' YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL which was suspended by ropes in front of the gallery. After the show the huge letters were installed under the 10 freeway on Olympic blvd. In the two years that the letters have been up, they have be broken, fixed, vandalized and repainted by the city or unknown people. We were sent this video by an anonymous friend.
