If one takes the time to read Gods word one will see where it is God who states that these are useless. I do not want to argue the point with God. He is always right and I am always wrong in that way. The time I spoke of is coming and sooner than some may want to believe. I'm not a date or day setter by any means. But the times do show of this coming sooner than some would like. Hey game over for satan and sin and that is totally cool with me. I look forward to Jesus return.

@wiewayflats Yes it does fit in with the mark, name or number of the beast which I believe is coming sooner than people want to know. The bridegroom will come soon. But I'm no date setter as some are. I just look at Gods word and the seasons and times and events around me and it all appears to be becoming so very clear that as Jesus said; it is at the door. Add to this the ads in movie theaters about the biochip implant being good for you really makes it come clearer still.

@grraadd The earth is filled with war and has been for some time now. Violence fills the earth just as in the days of Noah before the flood. People are acting like animals everywhere. We didn't evolve from animals but the schools are telling our kids we did and so they act it out. The "empire?" collapsing as you call it is global and as such not an empire. But one will rise in it's place that people will think is the greatest. This will be a deception.

Basically what your saying is that we shouldnt own gold and silver because it will be useless eventually, according to that logic, you should also throw away your dollar bills and food, because according to your version of Christianity, we shouldnt be able to take care of ourselves. Well, GOD helps those who help themselves. People were saying the same thing 100 years ago during world wars and unrest, NO man know the day or hour, remember that verse? The prudent man forsseth the evil and hideth.

@preceptafterprecept I agree with your statement about giving it to help the poor. Matthew 6:19-20 can very well apply here. It's all a matter of if we are doers of His word and not just hearers.
