The Kenyan coffee industry has faced a turbulent period in the last few years. However the prospects of better earnings are emerging, raising expectations of many farmers that better seasons are ahead. But now the sector faces another challenge with the youth failing to embrace crop as a viable means of income. Just who will take up coffee production when the ageing farmers can no longer tend to the crop? KTN's Christine Ndiritu with that story.

  • rural-urban migration is a challenge everywhere nowdays!..African countries need to start moving from concentrating in agriculture only and start investing in industrial, education and other technological sectors if they are develop!
