Kobe Bryant Please tell me you saw what Kobe Bryant did after he scored his 49th point in the Lakers' 122-107 win on Wednesday night. Watch out, world! He was packing finger pistols! Yes, in case you missed it, Kobe actually did that corny, kind of hackneyed Yosemite Sam thing, right down to blowing on the imaginary barrel to cool it off. (He's done it before.) It was pretty funny, intentionally or not (perhaps not), but whatever: when you shoot 18-of-27 for 49 points — and make time for 10 assists — you can do the Cabbage Patch for all anyone cares.

Kobe scored 19 of his points in the final period, all of which came between the 6:41 and 2:22 marks in the fourth — a span of just 4 minutes and 19 seconds. (He was ... ) Pau Gasol, after leading the Lakers with 36 in Game 1, scored only 18 in Game 2. Luke Walton, on the other hand, exceeded his Game 1 output and scored 18, adding seven rebounds and five assists to go along with it. Game 3 is set for 5:30 ET in Denver on Saturday.
