The NRA is following the guidelines of Handguns Limited Inc. and they are trying to dilute our rights as citizens to defend our family, community, state and county from enemies foreign and domestic.. Especially Domestic.

@Alf90100 Absolutely, but don't forget that guerilla warfare is difficult to fight, even with technology, especially since there are so many more civilians than soldiers, even accounted for defections from both sides.

@Alf90100 That what some thought about the British, what you got to remember a lot of people in the military own weapons as well, also there's a lot more civilians then there are soldiers. But I think were ok right now, we have enough people fighting for our rights to bare arms

He shouldn't even be on the board of the NRA with that out look. He spouts what you would expect Obama and his bunch to be saying just to get there foot a little further inside the door. If he wants five shells in his firearm then put in five shells. The 2nd amendment isn't about hunting, IT'S ABOUT PROTECTING OUR SELF FROM AN OVERBEARING GOVERNMENT.

@ikiwago I believe in gun rights as much as the next guy, but you are one seriously deluded bastard if you believe that a few million americans with little to no formal military training, armed only with semi-automatics are going to stop the U.S. military should it be turned on the american people by malevolent, totalitarian leaders.
Our military technology is just fucking unbelievable, we'd be no match at all against our military.

NRA? Bah humbug! Civilians have every right to be armed to the teeth! I believe most people are decent, albeit selfish, and can be trusted with weapons for their own protection... Against thieves, robbers and, ultimately, an out-of-control tyrannical government.
