I think that you've misinterpreted what Rob Bell has said. Jesus does believe in us that we will turn to him; he risks being denied in order to truly love us. In that way he puts the ball in our court. God does see worth in us, that's why he died for us. It isn't a prideful belief in ourselves but more of an encouragement that we can have the strength to discipline ourselves in loving and following Christ. Let's try and be more uplifting of our brothers and sister's and less willing to mock.

Awesome imitation =) it was good, but you needed more underlying passive agression, like when he starts to talk about problems, he gets so angry and hurt looking... My youth group is just waiting for him to say "maybe someone left you...hurt you....left you wondering what went wrong...left you with murderous rage...maybe let you I WILL FIND YOU KAREN! YOU CANT HIDE FOREVER!"

Actually, the bible says in Matthew 7:16 "You will know them by their fruits". First of all, in this verse Jesus was referring to Christians. Second, he never said to judge anyone. Simply that we will know full well that who the Christians are by the fruit they produce.
It's ironic that in the same chapter, Matthew 7:1, Jesus said "Do not judge, or you too will be judged". That basically contradicts your entire post. I don't know what Rob Bell has been teaching you...
