Some of the most beautiful sharks in the ocean are found here, Tiger sharks, Lemon sharks, reef and the occasional hammerhead shark! I ventured out with the Editor of Shark Diver Magazine who you'll see in the video hand feeding the Tiger sharks! Incredible interaction and such a respect for them after being so up close and personal! No cages, No chainmail, ONLY cameras! • There are reasons we categorize sharks...and there is a reason tigers are category 3's...the only one misunderstanding these killing machines is you.

  • @niignastii Go Back to your boring desk job and stop watching my video's then =)

  • @BeckyKagan im gonna have to agree, you probably know more than me, but arent tigers fairly dangerous compared to others

  • @jon11565 I think there are other species of sharks that are way more dangerous than Tigers but yes, tigers are dangerous and they account for many attacks since they live so close to shore. My point of the video was that even though they are dangerous you can safely dive with them in the right conditions. I've even dove with Great Whites and no cage. Many think that is stupid but in all reality last year only 11 people were killed by sharks. Only 11. More were killed by jellyfish.

Study those sharks, just remember that they only know what we teach them. I see sharks all the time. I'm an avid free diver in hawaii but chose not to post many dive videos due to it being a cultural thing. Catch only what you can eat and share kinda deal! I also encounter them regularly solo or by myself, so I have to know there warning signs. I have tried the feeding thing and honestly, they do expect it. I guess if money and footage is how you perceive them, then go ahead.

  • @ksunshine2009 I'm a little confused by your last statement about "if money and footage is how I perceive them" what exactly does that mean? I didn't make any money from this footage. I posted this video to bring awareness to sharks because I care about them and have a passion for diving with them. Yes there is a huge controversy about feeding them and even diving with them but everyone is entitled to an opinion. I am just confused about yours. Cheers.

  • just curious, I know you aren't supposed to feed animals in the wild, but I've never heard this said about animals such as fish and sharks. I see people, especially people who study ocean animals, feeding sharks in videos all the time. Is there a reason that this is acceptable with sharks but not with bears for example? Would sharks not become equally accustomed to human contact and continue to expect food from people?

  • Fantastic video. The lemon shark was always one of my favourites when I was a kid! The closest I've got is diving with a half-dozen sand tiger sharks in a tank. Not quite the same!

  • I love Sharks! This video shows them in their natural habitat and i would love to swim with some :-) At the time of writing this my Dad is on holiday in the Maldives and just to rub it in he emailed me photos of a baby Blacktip Reef Shark and a Whitetip Reef Shark. I know these may not be as awe-inspiring as a Tiger or a Great White but a Shark is a Shark in my mind

  • this is such an inspiring beautiful video, even though I am jealous that they can touch them and not me. I love sharks since I was small. and this made my night count. Keep doing the good work. I am so proud. :) <3

  • i love sharks and realy hoped to dive with some of them which will not happen, but i think as long we respect them and don't leave all the typical Misjudging on the shore it'll be alright^^

  • @niignastii You are both right and have great points.

I'm an avid diver in Hawaii with many opportunities to study and observe sharks. In fact, I have a few areas that I see them on regular basis. Due to lack of knowledge with tigers I do believe they can be trained but not accustomed to humans. Reason is, they are wild. In contrast, they will get closer due to feeding as I've seen in a few dive spots. For the inexperienced, this only spells trouble. Know the shark and your ok.

  • Sharks eat everything.

  • do Lemon sharks eat Lime fish
