I used to have that case until i switched to a iPhone 3GS: and by the way my phone sucks, i want a new 1

these cases are good for like the first week or so
then they break maybe 2 or 3 months later

Does the rubberizing make any difference? & does it make the phone hard to slide into your pockets?

that is dose look i guess but what I did notice is that it dose not have a screen protector. i see no reason in buying a product to protect something that will leave it's weakest area empty.
