these guys were better than basically any of the thrash at that time. its ridiculous. oh and fuck Dime. hes a legend but he doesnt deserve reference on every video or discussion about good musicians.

@pkfjr3671 : Tommy same level as Dime? no disrespect to Dime..but Dime would never have been able to play any of the stuff Tommy played in the 5 Coroner albums..technically Tommy slays Dime...music writing wise both are/were top class..

Hey man Sorry for this late reply here.I was just wondering if one of the(or the)most important feature you look for in a band is technical proficiency/ability?By no means am I judging anything here,including your opinions,or anybody's for that matter,regarding what qualities they look for in a band. You're right about Coroner&their abilities.They're also very unique&more original than most realize.Their songwriting abilities&song structuring also kicks ass.

@lewman321 that's true man! these guys were incredible musicians and composers, and in live performances you can see in what level they are! such a perfect performance like they put the CD in the concert haha. Amazing band, and they're just three guys . Fuck! Coroner rulez!!!!

@Steve128967 they have officially reformed. tommy was asked if there were plans for a new album and he said he doesn't know. if everything goes well, a new album should be released sometime in 2011. i really hope so.

Will this band got hosed by their label as did a lot of great bands back in the early 90's due to the grunge craze.
It was a true mis-justice that they didnt get the support, exposure and air play they truly deserved. Hell even today you are hard pressed to find a better band let alone 3 piece that was that of Coroner's level.
These guys were doing SICK scales and sweeps before Necrophagist even had a drivers license.
I would put Tommy on the same level as Dimebag any day!
