To prove it works I saw all the dirt on my string cleaner pads gather more and more each time.

I just got one today, and it's amazing. It made my old strings sound like new ones :D

Cool idea. Now I dont have to stop eating chicken wings while I play guitar.

Wished you had one string cleaner for violins. The rosin stuck on the strings is a pain.

@greendaynonfiction msrp is $12.99, but it's sometimes available for less through online stores like amazon, sam ash, musician's friend, etc.

Would I be able to use a cleaning solution on the pads, or is doing so unnecessary?
CDI647 7 months ago
@CDI647 you could, but it's not necessary. If you use it after each playing, you shouldn't need any solution (especially if you use it in conjunction with new strings. then there will be no build up)

Just ordered one hope it helps me out. Does it remove rust? or just the gunk that causes it?
JacobGeorge2011 8 months ago
@JacobGeorge2011 Doesn't do so well with rust, more the gunk that causes it. It's best used to prevent major build up. If you put on a new set of strings, and use it after each playing, you'll get much longer life out of them
