I'm sorry but, 400 lbs is ridiculous for a 7 year old. I mean I would blame the parents for letting her climb to that amount. No offense but her parents obviously don't care about her condition. If they did, they wouldn't be feeding her junk food STILL. I'm not being mean to over weight people, but honestly it's just stupid to keep on eating junk after you are so big. I don't feel sorry for her, or her parents one bit. She doesn't deserve all this, but still it was their choices that did this.

@love4musicuk Agreed. If you have a slow metabolism you have to eat less and work out more than a person with a fast metabolism. Fairy simple solution to a problem that is not very difficult. Saying "I'm fat because I have a slow metabolism" is like saying "I am a bum who lives on the street because I have lower than average intelligence", it's no excuse at all. I use to be very heavy so I am speaking from personal experience.

@robisnum1 There's other factors to take into account other than just eating and lack excersise. For one these's the metabolism, not everyone has a fast one

@love4musicuk When is it not a choice? There are a few rare diseases but other than that gaining weight takes time. It's not like you wake up one morning and you're a fatass....it is an accumulation of poor choices over an extended period of time.

Losing 66 lbs is a huge task, If you took a 6o lb sack of concrete mix and held it for 20 minutes, your arms would get tired. Keep up the good work!!! Stay away from processed foods and spend part of the weekend planning your meals. Get some dumb bells and get some basic workouts done...it can be done!!! Thumbs up to you and Jessica!!!

I don't understand how you can let a kid get that obese. I'm 6 foot 3 inches tall and I weigh 196... she is literally more than two of me which is mind boggling. And I may be athletic/in-shape now but that wasn't the case I was a fat kid. And all the fat people supporting this "fatist" movement are just lazy... aesthetics aside, make a change for your life and health folks...ok I'm done.
