Ah, remember when there was news 24/7? It's 11PM right now, 8:49 PM in Los Angeles. Let's see what CNN is airing right now. Oh, a repeat of the Situation Room, which I already watched at 6PM ET. What do those in the UK with BBC get when they turn on their TV past 11PM? Up-to-date news. I wonder why CNN claims they are trying to be more news.. AC360 now repeats it's 8PM show at 10PM after moving to 8PM. Even more reruns. How is that news? News should emphasize the "NEW" in News.

These graphics are actually better than CNN has now. CNN's been moving their graphics and music to.. nothingness. No co-anchors, no opening music for their shows, no real scrolling news ticker. It's easy to fall asleep watching CNN now. I want my news without falling asleep.

@gameshowguy2000 August 2001 they did a total overall of the set, graphics etc. However, they largely stuck with the 30-minute format until 2005.

I really enjoyed the June 1999 - August 2001 image they had going. Maybe one day they will return to a 30-minute news format.

@xxblueheartxx--i COULDN'T AGREE WITH YOU MORE! They've definitely strayed from their original mission. Quite a shame. I rarely watch CNN or "HNN"....ugh, Headline News, anymore...

@0814ma--I couldn't agree more. I love the section of the clip of the female anchor saying "we don't stop for talk shows...we're non-stop news. That's what we do". WOW, not today...those days are GONE...
