Great playing man! I'm considering the UA-25 for recording the guitar and I have a few questions if don't mind. Is it possible to run a cable from the guitar right into the UA-25 without needing a mic and amp and then use software based guitar effects? Is the latency reasonable in this device? Any cons you've found?
Thanks a lot!

Nice tone - I just got yesterday a sm57 and edirol ua-25! Can I ask how loud your amp is? because i record my mic sm57 10cm from the amp and its sooo quite. I have already turned up the sensitivity to half way (any further and tone distorts) on the interface and I also turn up the volume on my computer to hear it after I record it thats about at 8 O'clock to hear it well enough. But then the tone gets fizzy.
If you could just explain how you record with good gain in mic to pre-amp
Thanks!!!

Good job, keep it up! Very solid shuffle.

Hey have you had a reliable issues with it? I had a bad experience with a V32 combo. I wanted to get a V30 head cause I figured they might not get as hot.

Great playing man! There seems to be some noise when you're not playing, is it caused by the mic or the audio interface?

sounds amazing man. do you know if you can record from both inputs simultaneously into different channels on a recording software with the UA-25? For example, hooking up a mic and then guitar, but mixing the channels via software and recording the two at the same time.

Thanks for commenting.
Yes,you can record two channels simultaneously with UA-25. For that, you must drive the UA-25 channel 1 to a track and set the input as left, and the channel 2 to other track and set it as right. This way you can record both and you'll get two independent tracks to mix. I hope this information help you.
