Yup. Nissan also had it on quite a few cars overseas. I know the Skyline was one of them.

Actually, that was Nissan's HICAS system you were seeing. It was available on only a couple cars stateside (that I know of), the 240sx (89-93, as 94 was convertibles), and the 300ZX (I dunno what particular years). It's an awesome system.
