This is my personal tribute to the legendary leader of Team Gurren Lagann, Kamina! A man of his magnitude needs to be recognized! This is my second AMV, the song is called The Greatest Man That Ever Lived, preformed by Weezer. I hope you all enjoy!

@TheCR155 Gurren Lagann is the Simpson's of it's genre. It was born to be a parody, but inadvertently became the best of it's genre, and by the end it was becoming a parody of itself. Like a spiral, it retained the same shape, but got bigger, and bigger. Mix that in with the good characters, the best line's in the universe, and you've got... GURREN LAGANN!

@Ecofreak96 I'd agree it's not a terrible dub, but it still looses so much of the characterization. The VA on the dub is passable, but the VA on the original is superb.

way i see it, this show is so bombastic its better the hear them say it than read it. SUPER GALAXY GURREN LAGANN!!! tends to go over better than "chouginga gurren lagann!"

What I love about this show is how clever it is.The entire anime is a satire of the Mecha genre, which is why they've got ridiculously over-sized mecha, attacks that are powered by force of awesome and a totally absurd plot. This show was designed so that it literally runs on win, if it's cool there doesn't need to be a reason behind how it works, it just does
