why does everyone say the 12 hour battery is a lie? my ipad runs 10 hours on a much, much smaller battery. panasonic toughbooks had 12 hour batteries 3 years ago too

this laptop is way AHEAD OF ITS TIME.. i mean fanless sim card enabled 3G power pc with 12 hour battery>? that's unheard of.. it's like a smartphone on steroids!

not rily..hav u seen the hp envy??..they claim it can be powered for up to 18hrs typical use..uses two battery..the 1 that comes with the laptop and another..they call it the battery slice..both battery gives a total of 18hrs power per charge..back to nokia, this battery has 16-cell..so.. i wouldn't be surprised to have 12hr battery life..and since it's running windows 7..save mnore power..microsoft claim they can make your laptop battery last longer

nokia claimed the battery life is 12hrs for typical use, not on standby..typical meaning u could be connected via 3G or wifi browsing and still have the 12hrs battery life

Same as any Atom Z system I've used running Windows 7, ie. perfectly fine as long as you're not playing back HD video or playing the latest games.
