@BurkeDevlin66 u mean the train drivers sandwich?
-
A employee time table will let you know what the speed limts are. I like to hang out where it's 70 mph on the NS AGS South. 55 mph for freight if they can get it

Why was there steam coming out?
-
rich butter and cheese now that was faster than a speeding bullet

this is probably a dumb question
why is the speed limit for amtrak trains higher than the speed limit for freight trains?
cagedpurplebird 1 year ago
@cagedpurplebird Because a passenger trains locomotives and cars are designed for speed and comfort. They can take curves faster. Freight cars are designed for maximum capacity and not for the comfort of the freight, so they can't take higher speed as easy as passenger equipment.

How fast is the curve at Partridge??

Probably 55 for freight and 79 for Amtrak.

Damn, nice. Wasn't this the #3 that got stuck up in Chicago because of the other SWC derailment?

Well there was a derailment, but it was #5 not #3. Thanks
