http://mrtperformance.com.au In this video Brett shows what the std subaru exhaust parts look like and how they perform, and then replaces them with a MRT exhaust and shows more info and sounds. Also includes detailed info on the features of what to look ofr in a correctly designed turbo outlet and why some exhausts may look good but offer no improvement at all

  • Thanks for listening to the client's needs (what it looks and sounds like) and presenting a video addressing those needs. Discussing pros/cons/etc for MRT pads v other brands (OEM for example) would be something I would enjoy. Keep up the good work.

  • Great video as always Brett. Very thorough. Thanks for taking time to explain this in so much detail

  • @nuggetzor thanks for your feedback

  • That MRT exhaust system looks and sounds awesome! Here in the USA we also have a duel cat setup. Hey Brett would it be worth installing a better intake and exhaust system on a non-turbo 2.5 L Subaru boxer engine?

  • @porsche558 intake makes ZERO power on the N/A engine, exhaust is marjinal

  • cheers thanks for that mate...

  • @speedylicker 100% need a retune, thats why you out the exhaust on, to remove the restriction and make more power, hence the ECU has no idea and boost, ign, cam timing is all needing adjusting, PLUS witha EcuteK retune you WILL get MORE power :)

re the BOV, check out our FAQ at the bottom of the MRT web site

  • @4122Hamster agreed

  • hey brett cheers for the vid's just wondering if i put a turbo back 3 inch exhaust with hi flow cat on my 06 WRX would i have to have the car re-tuned? or will the computer work it out?.. also i've heard that you can not put a atmospheric BOV on subaru's cause it can stuff your engine is this true? and why? cheers mate...
