Daniel Fernandez from Singapore here. I take a look at five little-documented tricks that can be used to impress (or, I suppose, annoy, if you use them out of context to cause harm rather than mischief) These are:
1. tracert xyz.com (insert site instead of xyz, endings other than .com are OK)
2. www.emkei.cz (I'm not paid to promote this service- in any case, it's free.)
3. The intitle command for google that can be used to find content such as music and movies. This may or may not be legal in countries with stricter IP laws, it's your responsibility to check.
4. Alt+F11 (press if you dare!)
5. DragonTape, SynchTube and Splicd.
I am not being motivated in any way to promote content that I mention here.
On the music side: Justin Bieber, Adam Lambert, Hans Zimmer, Dire Straits and Europe's work have been mashed up to provide the background music for this. I understand that mashups should qualify as user-generated content, so I shouldn't be offending anyone, PM if I am. I recommend you to support these artists as they have each done a fantastic job and should be rewarded correspondingly. (Yes, I bought their music legally on Amazon.)
Enjoy!
