I realize that, but what you're doing is more work than the initial idea, so if anything doing this would've been impractical in a limited amount of time.
I'm sorry if I'm offending your team or your robot, I'm just giving advice for next time: try to think about what you're doing in relation to the idea and what would take more work, time, etc.

Not sure what you mean by "too many stops" and "continuous" - can you give me more details?

Looks like there's too many stops, but that' through the video. Can it do continuous?

most certainly one of the most advanced systems I've seen.
won the innovate awards perhaps?
pitifully you need a much simpler robot to win the matches

@tribaltyn We did win the innovate award at NYS tournament at Clarkson College in Dec.
We further improved it for March Tournament in PA with IR sensor and automatic ball pickup but by then several teams had superior robots that gather and shoot many balls much faster than we could. There is a penalty for going to the first tournament - it forces you to choose a design that can implemented more quickly

are you guys fucking kidding me!?!?!?!? This is the worst robot I have seen, and that's saying something after the trash we saw at our regional tournament....it took you guys 20 seconds to load and shoot 1 ball for 5 points, and that's without anyone playing defense on you....come on. team 3391 FTW!!! Your comments don't represent the spirit of gracious professionalism
The video you commented on was taken the first time we ran our robot. For video at a competition, search for danholl3 on youtube. We took 2nd at Clarkson in Northern NY and will be at the PA regionals next weekend
I looked at video from your recent competition and all I see your robot doing is running back and forth not shooting

The loading mechanism seems to be a lot more work than it needs to be;
What I would do is have the balls load in from the back and into a containment chamber, and have it shoot on the front directly from the chamber.

Well our plan was to do something like that but as often happens turning the idea into reality in a limited amount of time isn't as easy as it might seem
