  • @sabadashi It always strikes me in awe how planes flying oversea routeshave the ability to fly on one engine... and then see the 747-400 take off with the trent by itself, that alone is enough to put wowzers in my trousers...

  • wow, that touch and go landing was pretty hard.

  • I'll stick with the GE90-115B thank you.

  • If you want to see an engine that's even bigger, check out the Trent 900, the one that powers the A380. Lower thrust than the 1000 but a bigger fan.

  • That was a touch-and-go. A planned maneuver. Tha aircraft balance was maintained with additional fuel in the right wing tank.

  • Probably cause there's one of the big engines on only one side.
