I sent the synopsis of FACE out to some peoples on teh interwebs. They sent me back theY photos and video and I manipulated them and made them a part of FACE, stitching it all together with me doing the voice of the lurker creep.

F.A.C.E. SYNOPSIS

In an increasingly impersonal metadata filled world wherein social networking sites alienate those without the FACE, emotional dissonace occurs. Quasi personalized spam email flashes by telling the human that they are not good enough, hard enough, soft enough, smooth enough... Shocking, explicit imagery dulls the senses, numbs the EYES....Technologies with great promise that can be utilized to bring people closer together push them apart by staring at them with FACE. Men lust over the FACE....Women worship the FACE... FACE was never human....but still we try to capture and appease FACE. The voices keep chattering away and still..it is there....FACE.

The images and video in FACE were filmed using regular webcams and a FLIP video camera.

3d animation was done in Cinema 4d 10.5
Compositing was done in After Effects Cs3
Editing was done in Final Cut Pro 6

your description of the video did sound a bit narcissistic. there is a lot dark art that focuses on technology, alienation is a common theme as well. but good job man

So this is the same as "dark art" with themes of technology, alienation? So ummm this drawing I did of a woman is the same as the Mona Lisa? I mean its a painting and has a woman in it?
