Anybody notice the Chuck Berry lines from "You Can't Catch Me" that he sticks in the middle of this?

He's wasted. Not sure why people glorify self-destruction. It's sad if anything. The announcer is great though. A true professional, even if clueless.

I've seen this video twenty times or so... The announcer is great, the band is great, the fuzz bass is great, the pounding cro mag drums are great, the destructive guitar is great, and iggy is transcendental. He truly was 'out of his mind' at this point in time.

It's hard to believe that just a few years after this, in the mid-'70s, Iggy was living as a homeless junkie in L.A., crashing in a parking garage, along with a pal who was a rent-boy and junkie.
So next time you see some down and out skid row burn-out, don't sneer. It could be a talented dude who's just lost his way for a while, like Iggy. In a few years, you might be willingly paying big bucks to watch "the bum" perform on stage !
