  • Both my parents were born in Glasgow, all my aunties, uncles, cousins, and grandparents were born in Glasgow, but my parents moved to England whilst my mother was pregnant with me because of my dads job, always been gutted about that....I Love Glasgow and I love Glaswegians....Wonderful city, wonderful people !

  • @pddybrry No, D.Bag ! Billy Connolly wrote this song in the late 80's.

  • Hi any ideas where I can get the sheet music for the piano for this very emotional song? Ileft Glasgow when I was 7 years old but still consider it home 45 years later

  • What Glasgow & Belfast have in common is that both these great cities keep their ain folk grounded!

You simply can't adopt "airs & graces" if you're from either one, or you'll be spotted & hung out to dry as a "snobby bastard", or "mutton dressed as lamb"!.

My kind of city & my kind of people though!

  • @BillDFC Glasgow has created more famous modern Scots than any other city in the UK, and is city where is breeds good people, the religious bigots die out when they get older.
