@MDkid1 idk it wasn't there when the uneaten half hit the seabed, so maybe... it may have seen the liopleurodon and swam offscreen to safety. i've wondered that since seeing the uncut version of the episode. on tv it went straight to the commercial break when she got attacked

@allamericandiner no, it's not an allosaur its a megalosaur call eustreptospondylus. the allosaurus animation model for the original series wasn't completely accurate in the original series anyway (the horns) in big al the animation model was more accurate. then again, you can't really blames them if they didn't get the australian allosaur right since it wasn't even named or well-known at the time and they were making a guess

this is still by far the best dinosaur documentary ever made in my opinion (even though there are some mistakes like the dromaeosaurs that lack feathers).

One of the best series ever made in the history of television.
I remember that i watched this every weekend during christmas time back in 1999 when i was 5 or 6 years old... i was so fasinated by these spectacular scenes they made for this series. Together with the last episode of the series, this one were the best episodes :)
It is sad that there aren't series on tv these days with the same 'magical' experience as walking with dinosaurs for children...

@zeste thats sad and we talked about this in ecology and my dad is a geo lover how sad
children today fail. They don't even know what a dinosaur is nowadays. I loved watching all those television specials when I was little. I just feel that my youth was a bit more imaginative than purely gaming and facebooking. We've lost the child curiosity for the strange and unknown. When was the last real dinosaur documentary/special that was as remotely fascinating....
