VW T4 2.5TDI 300hp acceleration

This was the first run with 300hp setup. New winter tires plus little moisture on the road made it difficult to get traction even with using only about 75% throttle.

Mekellä ajettu viimevuonna epäonnisesti vain 11,4s/208kmh kesyillä säädöillä ja sitten tiukemmilla pääsi perän irtoamisen seurauksena ylikierroksille ja hajosi. Nyt tavoitteet on yli 220kmh loppuja lentokenttäradoilla, vaan aika jää huonoksi, koska Alastaroon kunnon pidolle ei enää tänä vuonna päästä. Toivottavasti säät edes suosisivat... Auto on ympärivuotinen käyttis vetokoukulla ja täydellisellä sisustalla.

Hauskaa lukea noita postauksia... Jotkuu vaan ei voi käsittää,että diesel volkkarissa voi olla yli 300 hp... Jatkahan virittämistä.

No omituistahan se on pakua virittää... Toisaalta tälläset +300 lukemat on vielä melko kevyttä kauraa mersuprojektiimme verrattuna, kun jo litratehot lähentelee kolmeasataa... :)

Ikävä kyllä virittäminen jatkuu. Ikää on, vaan vielä kun tulis järkee...

I used two different FWD 1.9TDIs (IV Golf, Seat Ibiza -99 IRC) which both went almost identical trap speeds and ETs were also close to mine (within 0,3s). Both cars had been weighted and dynoed just before those 1/4 mile runs. Both cars were dynoed on a dyno that was capable to hold the boost up for the entire run. This is not the case with the dyno I have been using for my van (it made 308bhp @4900rpm with only 1,25bar and fueling is directly proportional to boost).

@valonvieja what formula did you use to calculate 370hp. does it take into effect aerodynamic drag of the van?
