I thought you might like a look at this amazingly clean 69 Plymouth Road Runner. It's packing a 440 Six-Pack under the flat black hood and the famous pistol grip shifter inside. Thanks for watching and commenting, I appreciate it.

  • gorgeous....even the battery looks original

  • @uptonfg Thanks for checking it out!

  • Pistol grip didn't come in until 70. The 69s had the Inland shifter like the 68s from memory? People agree?

  • @DRJIVAN I think you're correct about that, but it seems like everybody loves those pistol grips. Thanks for watching!

  • @RamblinAround Thanks for doing those videos. I like the blue Hemi Roadrunner and red Superbird you did. I will most likely end up getting both. Saves me going to St Charles. Appreciate that

  • @DRJIVAN Those two cars are real beauties. You'd be happy with either of them, or both. Thanks for watching my vids.

  • sweet but not real!

  • Hemi killer.

  • if every car in that area started at the same time i would be in absolute heaven on earth

  • Dodge and Plymouth dominated the streets. The Rag top hemi-roadrunner was the fastest roadrunner, but can anybody tell me if they ever saw a hemi-hurst dart on the street with the race hemi making noise.

  • thought the 69s did

  • This can't be Original.68 & Early 69 Runners didn't come with 440 6 packs. They came with stock 383magnum 335hp engines, or 426 HEMI's. The 440 6-pack was not available until mid 1969 when the 69 1/2 A12 Road Runner with fibre glass lift off hood was released. The 440 6-pack was also became available in the 70 runner, along with the 383 and the 426 I read somewhere that there was 1 440 4-barrel Runner made in 1970. The rest were 6 packs.

  • @handclamp You "noticed" the battery, but not the hood and 8 3/4 rearend???????????

  • @moparrules1968 If I'm not mistaken, I forgot about it missing a Dana60 w/ 410 gear ratio.
