Keep doing what you do, GoG and, for the record, I think you're doing a great job. For example, Ultima VII was tough to run even when it was released. Players had to program boot discs just to run it. GoG has done such an excellent job with DOSBox for UVII that you just have to click "run as administrator" and it works perfectly well. In fact, it runs better than any other version of UVII I've seen.

@tpiom A lot of the games use a program called DOSBOX, which emulates an older computer.

How do they get old games to work on new machines?
I doubt the publishers would ever lift a finger to rewrite the code a bit... signing a contract with GOG is as far as they go. So, it must be on GOG's side. Anyone?

i'm suprised the PR guy wasn't fired
whats with all the hate?
still great classics, cheap and DRM free. Some of those games are impossible to find elsewhere. The whole purpose of GOG is to let us still play the games we love.
Yes, marketing screwed up but GOG, u can have my money.

I'll admit this was a dumb ploy, but let's not kid ourselves: 90% of the people saying they'll never buy anything from GOG will be back within a month, tops.
