Thanks for your message. There are further details on the West Yorkshire Police website recruitment section. The starting salary as of 1/9/2008 for Police Community Support Officers is £17,550 plus shift allowance and enhancements for weekend working.
PCSOs work the same hours as the police officers on Neighbourhood Policing Teams. This is on a rotating shift
system which includes some weekend and bank holiday working together with late turn shifts. Hope that helps.
