In this Video Rob tears the 8.8 Rearend down to a hollow shell removing all the rotted junk from it in preparation for some NEW PARTS.. In doing so Hank get's the idea to make a ONE-OFF CUSTOM CASTING from what remains of the EXTREMELY ROTTED Differential Cover. How? Well watch the VIDEO DUMMY ! :^) - Rob & Hank

  • but why you put bondo ??? can put chrome??? you said something but i dindt get t

  • I think you need to watch some of the Chopper Videos in my list or Hanks.. (jdsprince) We will cast a NEW cover in Aluminum to whatever design we want instead of buying a Chrome replacement.. :^) -Rob

  • Rule # 1 NEVER put bondo over rust ! In this case it's fine because the bondo covered cover will be the mold pattern for one that we will cast out of aluminum. Remember in metal casting the pattern or as Rob calls it "the plug" doesn't have to be pretty to be effective. Keep posted :D

  • @jdsprince "RIBBED" Cast Aluminum Cover.. aka "The Lucky 7" will be out SOON !
