Album: Stone's Reach
Year: 2009

LYRICS:

In death she spoke of waiting
Her final days were long
These fields have changed since last she wept
Before the silent throng

She sits where childhood memories lie
Above, beside, within them
The carvings have outlived the hand
Which bled to first begin them

As features of the landscape merge
The oldest trees are falling
Awareness sweeps the view aside
She stares as if recalling

Seen first beyond the canopy
They soon had reached the borders
The clouds infused with burning breath
Arrived from coldest corners

The windswept valley hastens now
As dying words are uttered
From lips of earth and sapling's strain
Like leaves, her last thoughts fluttered

Again it darkens overhead
The knowledge of it stills me
And when the water starts to fall
Preserve the drop that kills me

i've been waiting for this album
they've become one of my favorite melo-death bands

  • damn you favorite button for not working at work.. (FAVORITE)

  • There are so many awesome Melodic Death Metal Bands!

  • dat intro

  • @dcdarrbare Ofc, my opinion about AA is that they have few epic songs, but the rest simply sucks.

  • Far superior to AA, IMO.

  • Imo one of their best songs. Love it. On another note; the beginning of the intro could slip right into the new Deus Ex.

  • @EarthernCradle I think Amon Amarth and Be'Lakor have very hooking songs. I could listen to AA and Be'Lakor forever and still love them.

  • I'm addicted to this song!!

  • I find that this band's instrumentals are much more epic than their vocals. Not that the singer isn't awesome.... But seriously; these instrumentals are amazing! I'm loving all their songs before i even hear Kosmas.
