There is no more lead in Yin Chiao than in chocolate. All plant medicines contains trace amounts of lead.

Japan allows 20 parts per million for total metals.The W.H.O. allows 10 ppm for lead.

Airborne is loaded with toxic chemicals! I use Yin Chiao (however I've never tried this one, I use the one imported directly from China, in the green horizontal box)and it is AMAZING! I have a weakened immune system and I am never without the original Yin Chiao during cold/flu season. It is literally a life-saver. However I know to stay away from cheap American imitations. Most of them turn out to be nothing more than acetaminophen. I have not tried the above brand.

Dr. Shen's are now available at many Whole Foods and Wild Oats Markets as well as hundreds of natural foods and vitamin stores. Ask for Dr. Shen's Yin Chiao or Dr. Shen's Ganmaoling, or Dr. Shen's Zong Gan Ling. They all work.

Yin Chiao tainted with drugs comes only from China, not America. American brands, such as Dr. Shen's, are free of unlabeled drugs like acetaminophen. The American versions also use better herbs.

Yes, Tianjin and Dr. Shen Yin Chiao don't contain drugs, and work far better than the one's that do; likely because the drugged versions contain almost no herbs.

I hate to boast, but there is a difference between Dr. Shen's and Tianjin. Dr. Shen's uses the best grade herbs, is made and tested in FDA inspected factories, and is 750 mgs versus 600 in the Tianjin or Plum Flower versions, which, like all tablets made in China, are made with left over herbs. However I do admit they both work.

You say the american brand is not tainted but on my yin chiao by dr shen it the is a sticker that says "Warning: This product contains lead, a substance known to the State of California to cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm. Now that doesn't not tainted to me.100% herbal and contains lead wow id didn't know lead was a herb?

I use this whenever a cold comes on, and it has stopped it every time. I also take some Vit. C. 25 years and barely a cold, ever. And I teach high school!

My parents have been giving this to me when i was sick as a child. Now that i am living on my own, i still use it whenever i have a cold, sore throat, flu, or fever. It's a great remedy.

Of course Airborne doesn't work, there aren't enough real herbs in it to cure a flea. but we, and billions of Chinese people for over 400 years, believe that Yin Chiao DOES work. If you think otherwise, it seems likely that you have not tried it.
