I would never imagine myself saying that but I have to admit that the Fender Stratocaster was by far the best sounding guitar in them :O I think I'm beginning to see why so many famous players don't give their Stratocasters up..

its most likely heavily compressed and edited after the recording. plus mics change the sound anyway.

Hey Rivera guys, do the 5 and the 6 have the same preamp circuit?
The 6 sounds "smoother" than the 5. I dont know that the 6 would cut through for hard rock.
The 6 also seems to have more breakup or hair. Is this jsut the power tube differences?

The Venus 5 has one more gain stage to channel 1, giving it way more gain.

This amp sounds beautiful, that's a given, but it LOOKS incredible! It's one of hte best looking amps I've seen, hats off to the designers. Many thx for the vid too!
