GOANNA VS WATER DRAGON! EATEN ALIVE! ~ 'wild backyard'

Australian wildlife amateur film of an attack and kill. Goanna vs eastern water Dragon Never seen nature footage! rare!
while I was taking nature footage of a 2m diamond python in a backyard pond; I turned to the sound of a adolescent Goanna (monitor lizard) hunting and chasing a fully grown Eastern Water Dragon in a full speed chase 30 metres until the kill by the Goanna was made after the dragon was cornered. I just had time to record this footage of the dragon being eaten alive head first! never before seen!

there was a loud chase and attack which lasted about 10 sec'.. then I started filming.. after the attack it was too late, It just so happened I was there to see it and catch it on film.. its the natural order of things.. if I intervened it would have just been a waste.. both animals are wild..

i love reptiles and this did hurt me a bit BUT you pussys who say he shoudnt do it.....dont watch it, look away, its natural what are you going to walk up to this(im guessing lacie) and ask it not to eat meat..ya dickheads

oh and mate thats the technique for catching pretty much any lizard, i use it to catch

the"harmless" blue tongue who can inflict a nasty bite as i have experienced

@AlienPossum uuuuh NOPE. I think you were thinking of another lizard. Some are quite omniverous, or insectivores, but big goannas are predative. I mean, they'd probably eat some fruit if it was given to them, but they'd also happily eat your fingers if they could nab them off you.

MOnitor lizards...what happens when a snake grows feet basically...they're badass little guys too Steve Irwin used to jump them all the time and i remember him getting bloodied by them alot too XD and for everyone freaking out...this happens every day out there in nature. This guy was just lucky enough to see it.
